Welcome to LUEG MEDIA, a collective at the forefront of esports storytelling in Switzerland and internationally. Our mission is to utilize the collective talents of media creators to innovate and shape the future of esports narratives. This Terms of Service (ToS) outlines the agreement under which you may use our services and engage with our community.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or utilizing the LUEG MEDIA platform, including our services, discord and website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
Membership
Eligibility and Application
Membership is granted through an invitation and requires a portfolio review and approval by our current members. As a member, you agree to abide by these ToS and our collective guidelines.
Benefits of Membership
Members enjoy:
- Representation: Increased visibility through our official social media channels and website.
- Opportunities for Paid Assignments and Referrals: Eligibility for paid work and job referrals facilitated by LUEG MEDIA.
- Skill Development: Access to resources and support for professional and artistic growth within the esports media domain.
Content Submission and Rights
Ownership and Licensing
You retain ownership of the media content you submit. By submitting your work, you grant LUEG MEDIA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- Display and distribute your content on our official channels and platforms.
- License your content to third parties, under terms that benefit both you and the collective.
Revenue Sharing
If your content is licensed to a third party, the revenue is split, with 50% going to you, the creator, and 50% supporting the operational expenses of LUEG MEDIA.
Use of Content
Watermarking
Content featured on our platforms will include the LUEG MEDIA watermark to signify its origin and affiliation with our collective. Licensing arrangements for watermark-free content for third-party use are handled separately.
Content Removal
Should you wish to remove your content from our platforms, we accommodate such requests, recognizing your continuous ownership of your work.
Member Conduct and Responsibilities
As part of our collective, members are expected to:
- Conduct themselves with professionalism and respect towards other members and the broader community.
- Uphold the integrity and reputation of LUEG MEDIA.
- Respect and not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
Intellectual Property and Infringement
LUEG MEDIA is committed to respecting intellectual property rights and expects the same from its members. Claims of infringement can be directed to our provided contact information.
Amendments and Termination
LUEG MEDIA reserves the right to modify these ToS, with notice given to members regarding significant changes. Membership can be terminated by either party, adhering to the terms outlined here.
Dispute Resolution
Disputes shall first seek resolution through mediation. Legal actions, if necessary, will be governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction].
Limitation of Liability
LUEG MEDIA is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your participation in our collective.
